On the morning of October 14, 2025, a delegation from the Department of Science and Technology of Da Nang City paid a visit to and held a working session with the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), United Arab Emirates (UAE), to promote investment and innovation cooperation between the two cities.
As part of the 2025 Investment Promotion Program, the delegation is in Dubai to showcase Da Nang’s potential, strengths, and cooperation opportunities in the fields of science, technology, innovation, and startups, paving the way for deeper Da Nang-Dubai innovation partnerships.

The program aims to connect investors, investment funds, technology corporations, and international enterprises with Da Nang’s innovation ecosystem — thereby boosting investment capital flows, research collaboration, technology development, and knowledge transfer between the two sides.
At the event, the delegation introduced Da Nang’s investment incentive policies, its startup and innovation ecosystem, and potential sectors such as digital transformation, smart cities, biotechnology, environmental technology, and renewable energy. Representatives from DMCC and Dubai’s business community expressed strong interest in Da Nang’s innovation-driven economic development model.

The Da Nang-Dubai investment promotion activities mark a highlight of the Department of Science and Technology’s 2025 international cooperation program. The initiative not only helps enhance Da Nang’s image as a dynamic, innovative, and investor-friendly destination but also opens up practical cooperation opportunities in science, technology, and innovation – all geared toward the goal of building Da Nang into a leading startup and innovation hub in the Central–Central Highlands region with strong global growth ambitions.
